Hey there mighty DCS Brothers & Sisters. This mission is a re written & a totally reworked version of my original "Island Strike" mission I created more than two years ago. This can be flown with any AC that can accommodate the loadout within the mission. I would difficulty rate this a 7/10 & can be completed in under 45 mins. This is an easy Sortie & I think is a great little mission for Newbys.
08:00 Abu Musa Island, Persian Gulf
This Island is now under Allied control & the Russian backed Iranian forces in the area are not happy about it. Although we haven't managed to kick them out of the Tunb Kochak Islands yet but we're working on it. Now an opportunity has presented itself for us to start that ball rolling & your just the Pilot that can make that happen.

Captain, this afternoon’s sortie is a short mission into contested territory.
Rebel forces have occupied a train station and are using it to store a cache of weapons. Your primary task is to destroy the two buildings that make up the train station.
In addition, we have received intel images from an Orlan-10 drone that show a rebel supply convoy halted a few miles north of the train station. It appears that the lead vehicle has run into a mine. Catch the convoy before their engineers have time to find a safe path and move on.

Have fun & good luck. 10:00 MARIANAS ISLANDS. YOUR IN YOUR PIT ABOARD CVN-72 USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN & ABOUT TO COMMENCE START UP. THERE'S A SENSE OF ELECTRICITY MIXED WITH TREPIDATION HANGING IN THE AIR. WE ALL KNOW THE SITUATION IS TENSE & VOLATILE. THE ISLANDS HAVE RECENTLY BEEN DIVIDED & WE ARE KEEPING A CLOSE WATCH FOR ANY ACTIVITY THAT MAY WARRANT ACTION. IT NOW LOOKS LIKE THAT ACTION HAS ARRIVED.. WHETHER WE WANTED IT OR NOT. AWACS "MAGIC" HAS SPOTTED A SMALL GROUP OF VESSELS CONSISTING OF A LARGE ARMED LOADING DOCK ALONG WITH OTHER SMALLER ARMED BOATS ANCHORED OFF THE ISLAND OF SAIPAN.
