The 324th Tactical Fighter Squadron ‘Skullcatchers’ was a vital component of Osea’s forward-deployed airpower in the Usean Theatre during the mid 1960’s through the early 1990s. Flying the well known F-4E Phantom II, the Skullcatchers specialized in multi-role missions from air superiority and close air support to precision strikes against hardened targets.
During various border conflicts the squadron was deployed to help contain, they would be recognized for their aggressive tactics, reflected in the units insignia of a skull and bayonet. Despite their countless commendations and distinction for their performance on various high-risk missions, the 324th would be deactivated in 1996 following force-wide budget cuts, which saw the draw-down of many OADF forces in the region.
