I have worked on this track for 3 days and this is the final result. After being inspired by Top Gun and the songs that ship with the F14, I decided to have a go myself. I have been producing music for 4 years now and I have recently been getting into the 80's vibe ;) Anyway here is the Theme tune, you can set it as the main theme tune for your F14 by placing the file here:

This is a theme i made after watching the film in anticipation of the F-14 module.
Enjoy.
Extract the zip file to "%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS".
Launch the game and navigate to Option > Misc > Theme and select "TopGun".
If you don't like the wallpaper feel free to replace "base-menu-window.png" and "loading-window.png" with a picture you like.

The communications ship, **S.S. Layton**, has been disabled and drifted into foreign waters.
A rescue mission begins within the hour, and your job is to provide air support. There are MiGs in the area, and tensions are high.
These aren’t just any MiGs. Intel has confirmed they’re flying the MiG-28, a jet we barely know anything about. It’s fast, agile, and armed with Exocet anti-ship missiles capable of striking from 100 miles away. We don’t know what else they’ve got or how they’ll engage—so expect the unexpected.
They’ve been spotted to the west and are closing in *hot*. Hollywood and Iceman are already in the air.
This is the real deal. Everything you’ve trained for comes down to this.
You are the best America has. Make us proud.

Loosely based off of LCDR Heatherly's helmet from Top Gun, this helmet features the classic star pattern but adapted to a realistic tape scheme to kinda fit the US Navy's standards after about the early/mid 1980s. Feel free to slap this helmet in any of your RIO seats. That being said, please download from here, instead of handing it out to your friends. Thanks!
