Being an SWO turned naval aviator I always wanted to do some proper Navy missions, but with no Navy helicopter module in DCS in the foreseeable future one has to get creative. Luckily the H-60 came along and while it does not really represent any of the naval variants, it is close enough to create believable Navy taskings around it with some trigger magic. So a few month, input from GNY, RN and USN pilots and 160 voice lines later, here we are.
Introducing the BLACK SEA VIPERS - MH-60R 5 mission mini campaign.
You will be part of HSM-48 "Vipers" onboard the DDG-103 "USS Truxtun". On this cruise you will be facing a variety of challenging naval aviation tasks:
-ASW
-ASuW
-Transport
-SAR
-Recon
-PhotoOps
-Formation flights
-Boarding Operations
-Low Level IFR
