Following the 9/11 attacks, NATO forces liberated Afghanistan from the Al Qaida/Taliban alliance.
Insurgent activity in the region remains elevated, with NATO forces increasingly challenged to secure objectives established by the suits in Washington.
This mission is variable, with each start randomly selecting 1 of 2 available tasks -- see below.
*** Task 1: SEAL Team 10 is conducting operations in the mountains south of Chaghcharan.
Your are tasked with providing air support if required.
Task 2: An US Army convoy left Camp Bastion at 3:00, conducting RECON in the surrounding villages. In recent weeks, insurgent activity has increased, indicating an organized effort to repel the NATO presence in the area.**
AWACS and a K135 Tanker are available to support CAS operations.

To accompany my Southern Afghanistan Attack tour, These are the Upper/Western Airbases. Same deal, nothing fancy, but there is at least 1 target at each Waypoint/airbase, take them out to get a closer look. You have 4 mavs and guns, for 5 bases. As this one covers a bit more ground theres a tanker between WP2 & WP3, 34Y, 251.00. Obviously requires at least Afghanistan SW, and the Viper. Enjoy
