You need to escort a convoy, callsign Ranger 2-4, from FOB Paris, to our evacuation point on the coast, FARP London. The convoy will depart on your signal and we expect the transit time to be 90 mins. There is a variable enemy presence in the area, so we need to be alert to any possible threats.
Threats include Insurgent vehicles and ambushes, investigating and neutralising potential IEDs, and suppressing any other enemy activity encountered. These are carefully randomised and balanced so that every playthrough is different and challenging.
This mission is designed for two players flying as a “pink team”, with one player in a scout helicopter (White) and the other in a gunship (Red).
The Scout will need to fly such that their observer can closely check out potential threats, hovering or carrying out low passes as needed.
The mission is written for SA-342 Gazelle as Scout, Mi-24P Hind as Gunship and requires the Syria map. The mission can be modified to utilise other helicopters.

This mission "Flares escort" is the number 4 of "Operation Fugu" campaign is inspired by the "Operation Diodon" mission during the Lebanon war from 1982 to 1984.
The Multinational Security Force in Lebanon was created in September 1982 at the Lebanese request to the Secretary General of the United Nations and dissolved in March 1984 following the double attack against the French and American contingents.
Assignment:help the Lebanese army restore the authority of its government in and around Beirut. Ensuring the safety of civilian populations.
Four countries made up this multinational force: the United States, France, Italy and the United Kingdom. A strong naval presence ensuring their support off Lebanon.
The war is complex, marked by rifts between religious communities, militias, phalanxes, traffickers, and by foreign interventions (Syria, Arab League, Israel, Iran, etc...).
This Campaign is part of this context of both "neither war nor peace" with a wide variety of helicopter mission

There are 8 turns on the track. The entrance to the track and the finish line are marked with gates made of TV towers. You start from the helipad, the entrance gate is right in front of you.
Targets are placed on the track, they must be hit before the turns, next to which they are located. On the first round they are tanks, on the second round they are fire trucks, on the third round there is the big trucks. The player receives a notification when the target is hit and the turn is entered correctly (at a height below the TV tower). Without hitting the target, the turn is not counted.
The countdown starts after crossing the starting gate.
The passage time calculated with an accuracy of 5 seconds.
In the Mission editor you can replace the player's helicopter.
Recommended Combat Loadout:
Ka-50: 2 or 4 UPK-23-250. Fuel: 50%.
Mi-24P: 2 UB-32A. Fuel: 30%.
AH-64D: 2*19 Hydra 70. Fuel: 50%.
Mi-8: 2 UPK-23-250 + 2 B8. Fuel: 50%.
Sa342L - cannon + rockets. Fuel: 50%.
