This reference guide will provide basic information on the various types of SAMs in DCS. It will cover basics such as system design, concept of operation, and field deployment.
System performance information will be derived from DCS when available and open-source resources when necessary. Some information is derived from in-game testing and may vary from encounter to encounter.

This reference guide should be used for planning purposes when building or planning for missions as these ranges represent ideal ranges for each weapon. A time of flight is also provided next to the employment range.
