VF-206 has been designated multiple times, though the Osean Maritime Defense Force does not recognize a lineage between each disestablished squadron. VF-206 otherwise known as the “Shorebirds” were Established 14 October 1971 flying the F-14A Tomcat. Completing their aircrew training and receiving their first jets in summer of 1972, and reaching a full squadron by 1973. VF-206’s Initial deployment was in 1974 aboard the OFS Pelican. The Squadron flew over Adama supporting local forces during their failed attempts to quell the rebellions brewing within the island nation. VF-206 would deploy again in 1978 on a Usean Cruise, visiting Farbanti, Anchorhead Bay, Axel bay, Expo City and Comberth Harbor before returning to Osea.
With the retirement of the OFS Pelican, along with force restructuring, VF-206 would be reassigned to CVW-7 aboard the newly launched OFS Kestrel in 1994 and see action during the Belkan War in 1995 and later Circum Pacific war in 2010 before being retired in 2011.

FICTIONAL Blank US Navy high-visibility livery file for the F-14A. I removed the incorrect step re-enforcement plate, updated the gun guard, added the older style vents, and adjusted various stencils to represent a FICTIONAL generic deployed "A" bird in the late 70's. Feel free to put your own unit markings on, just please mention the original file if you do. Enjoy.
