A-10A
A training mission for beginners on the Nevada Map (required). It includes take-off, intercept and destroy, attacking ground and air defenses, and returning to base. A PDF briefing is included. It is assumed that you understand the basics of flight, navigation and firing guns, rocket and dropping bombs. Overall the mission is simple for advanced players but can be challenging for newbies (like myself). It took me about 10 missions before I could complete it in under 30 minutes without being shot down or damaged. Read the included PDF briefing as it will guide you as to what you should do. Repeat the mission until you succeed and you will become familiar with Air2Air, Maverick Missiles, Rocket fire, using the canon and dying or ejecting!

I decided to revise this mission.
Kneeboard added, longer time in hunting down the mobile tanks, mission starts an hour earlier & some text & end success track.
About 22 miles South West of Creech AFB an Enemy Training Camp full of would be Terrorists & Insurgents has been located & must be dealt with. They have assembled various AAA & stock piling some heavy weapon ordnance & an Armored Column is on route to this Base which also must be disrupted. There is also some enemy AC in the area.

Red forces are dug in at Creech AFB. Blue forces are based at Nellis AFB.
Take Creech AFB. All enemy vehicles, aircraft and structures at Creech are to be destroyed. This task falls primarily on A-10C drivers. After this has been achieved, land infantry forces at the airfield to complete the mission. Hueys can load and offload troops using the F-10 menu (or F-7 decent menu)
This is a cooperative MP mission for the blue side, but it can also be played in SP (especially combined with the cheat feature, see below)
edit: 12/13/2017: fixed scripting bug that causes mission to freeze at random times
edit: 12/17/2017: added AV-8Bs in the SEAD and CAS role. JTAC can be activated by airlifting infantry troops to its location.
edit: 12/21/2017: added scripted JTAC that lases targets for AV-8Bs (access via F10 menu)

*Edit: Fixed issues with radio calls, added more AI cap for Red side (every 20 minutes a flight of 23MLDs, or su-27s). Modified the aircrafts that can be called in so they start from the runway (took them 5-10 minutes to take off).
*Edit 2: The whole patriot site does NOT need to be eliminated, only the radar and the launcher (see pic creech)
*Edit 3: RU ground units start to advance once us patrol is dead, no need to call them via radio, fixed mission end parameters.
*Edit 4: Modified playable aircraft so they start on the runway, this way no waiting time for the wingman to take off.

Red and blue forces are battling over control of Nevada. The current front line extends roughly north to south, going through a line half way between Creech AFB (red) and Nellis AFB (blue). Both sides rely heavily on helicopter forces, and to a more limited degree, on airpower. The air battle is largely fought by F-5E and Mig-21bis, with each side seeking air superiority.
THIS MISSION CAN BE PLAYED IN SP AND MP.
EDIT 3/16/2018: fixed R-828 homing frequencies
EDIT: 3/22/2018: - moved spawn zone of troops away from FARPS (now the FARPS can be captured) to three camp locations per side. - rescued troops can now be dropped off at airfields, FARPs and MASHs. This mitigates the problem of excessively long flight times.
