F-15C
The License Built F-15J is a Janosian variant of the popular McDonnell Douglas F-15 Eagle. Developed under License by Shijo Heavy Industries for the Janosian Air Self Defense Force (JASDF). Despite initial push backs and delays that forced the JASDF to purchase the Shinomiya F-14AJ as an interim replacement, the F-15J serves as Janosia’s primary air superiority fighter as it was designed to strengthen Janosia’s air defense capabilities in response to growing regional threats.
The F-15J is almost identical to the Osean F-15C with minor modifications, primarily in the aircrafts avionics and electronic warfare suites. Its main roles include air defense, interception, and air superiority missions, utilizing a combination of BVR, missiles, and advanced avionics to secure Japan's airspace. Thanks to continuous upgrade packages, the F-15J has improved its radar and missile systems to address evolving regional challenges, and is expected to remain as Janosia’s airborne guardian in the future
