This Combat Air Patrol is tasked with a high-stakes mission:
Secure friendly skies. Neutralize the threat.
Operating along the edge of Syrian airspace, the objective is clear: Establish and maintain air superiority in a contested zone.

[Update: 08/05/24] Hi folks, I'm stepping away from DCS for a while so I won't be updating these for some time. By all means feel free to update, edit and reupload however you like.
A pretty heavy open sandbox training mission in the Syria map around Cyprus. There are no threats.
Modules Required - Supercarrier, (any of the modules you want to train in of course :D )
5 Ranges to choose from, Pine, Oak, Ash, Birch and Elm for Ground Attack, Air to Air, Anti Ship, Runway busting and Radar / HARM.
A simple Airspace incursion scenario activated via the Radio menu
"Buddy Spawns" - I don't like being the only one taking off so I've added AI that spawn when you do around the base and on the carrier.
A large carrier battlegroup with busy (but still functional) Carrier decks, including the Supercarrier GW, HMS Invincible and Tarawa.
Airbase populated with Statics and ambient units.
Tankers and AWACS available.
Smoke on targets available via the Radio menu.

Modified the Syria No Fly Zone that comes with the F-14 Module. This was one of my favorite quick fly missions so I modified it for 1 to 8 players and added voice-overs and lots of random settings that keeps the mission different each time you play it.
1) Add random generated civilian traffic.
2) Added Clients F-14B x2, F-18C x2, MiG-29 x1, MiG-21 x1
3) Added Random start position for attacking Mig-29s
4) Added 50/50 chance if the MiG-21 will engage you.
5) Added chance of surprise bandits
6) Mission fail for shooting down civilian aircraft
7) Random Victory music
8) If you do not enforce the No Fly Zone, there is a chance that the MiGs will press on and destroy coalition High Value Assets

You are UZI flight taking off from the Supercarrier CVN 73 and eventually landing on CVN 71. This is a goodwill mission that will also help you hone your low vis approaches due to scattered sea fog.
Land at all the airports marked as waypoints in your nav computer. See F10 Menu for waypoint definition and runway bearing/course.
Nicosia airbase is closed and should be a touch and go only. Pinarbashi runway is very short, so dump fuel down to 3600 lbs before approach.
After Pinarbashi you may need to rendezvous with tanker (Arco 1 - 1).
Note that the situation in Idlib province is tense with the Turkish military threatening to shoot down any Russian or Syrian jets that attack its allies on the ground.

A PVE massive multiplayer mission designed with realism in mind for training and learning air to ground tactics. Capable of supporting 4 independent flights(hawg, tusk, pig, boar) each with their own randomized tasking complete with voice overs. Sorties are likely to be different on each mission reset and require flights to mix and match weapon loadouts for the greatest chance of success, Supports Supercarrier and non-Supercarrier operations.
