Welcome to my CWG Sandbox - Rotorhead Edition
This is the follow up to my CWG Sandbox for fixed wing aircraft, this time concentrating solely on the helicopters in DCS. It encompasses a total of 45 slots aka quick missions, for 7 helicopters.
The missions range from unarmed patrol flights, to troop insertion/extraction, internal and external cargo transportation all the way to CSAR and flown blown engagements in major tank battles.
You will find 33 quick missions for the blue side and 12 for the red side.

THIS is the DAYTIME (morning) mission with F10 giving you FOG of war to easier see targets. Fly multiple helicopters, jets as blue or red - As BLUE force, support an attack against two groups of RED force troops and helicopters near the border between East and West Germany. As RED force, take off and patrol and hope that the early warning radars are wrong and a BLUE strike force NOT coming in from multiple vectors! RED force is weapons hold and patrol until aggressive action is undertaken by the BLUE force, after that you are weapons free to push out the imperialists!

A hover trainer - for all player-controllable helicopters and the Harrier. CAUTION: Mind your hairline, It'll recede!
To be able to hover in a helicopter is like being able to parallel park a car. Difficult, unimpressive, and a prerequisite for flying any helicopter.
Well, here's a small mission that helps you hone that skill with any of DCS's currently available flyable Helicopters (and the Harrier).
The mission also throws in some element of scoring to keep you on your toes. Or rather, to keep you keep your toes on your rudder. Oh, and Instructor/Trainer MP setup is tentatively supported (requires more testing) for the MP helos

This mission "Flares escort" is the number 4 of "Operation Fugu" campaign is inspired by the "Operation Diodon" mission during the Lebanon war from 1982 to 1984.
The Multinational Security Force in Lebanon was created in September 1982 at the Lebanese request to the Secretary General of the United Nations and dissolved in March 1984 following the double attack against the French and American contingents.
Assignment:help the Lebanese army restore the authority of its government in and around Beirut. Ensuring the safety of civilian populations.
Four countries made up this multinational force: the United States, France, Italy and the United Kingdom. A strong naval presence ensuring their support off Lebanon.
The war is complex, marked by rifts between religious communities, militias, phalanxes, traffickers, and by foreign interventions (Syria, Arab League, Israel, Iran, etc...).
This Campaign is part of this context of both "neither war nor peace" with a wide variety of helicopter mission
